Do you fit a bell on the outside of the house?
Yes, we install a live bell on the front of the property and a dummy bell on the rear if wanted.
Can I have an alarm system if I have a pet?
Yes, absolutely! We offer solutions tailored to your pet. For small dogs and cats, we can install pet-tolerant detectors. For larger dogs, we recommend perimeter protection to ensure your pets don’t trigger false alarms.
Will the system be rented?
No, the system is not rented. Once the installation invoice is paid, you own the system in full.
What are the common environmental causes of an alarm activation?
Various factors can trigger an alarm, such as balloons, open windows, hanging decorations, and insects like spiders crawling over the lens.
Can you service an alarm system you didn't install?
Yes, we can service systems we didn’t install, but it depends on the make and model. Our engineers are trained on certain systems, so contact us with details of your system, and we’ll help wherever possible.
Can you fit equipment that I supply?
No, to ensure and guarantee quality of alarm system, 777 Home Security supplies all the equipment we install.
Is there going to be much disruption to my home?
We strive to minimise disruption and often cause no disturbance at all. We ensure to leave your home just as we found it, even cleaning up after ourselves.
Will there be any visible wiring?
We aim to hide all wiring whenever possible. In some cases, it may be difficult, but we’ll point this out during the survey and discuss any visible cabling.
Can I arm the system at night?
Yes, our systems can be programmed for a "PART" setting. This isolates sleeping areas while fully arming downstairs or non-sleeping areas, offering peace of mind during the night.
What happens if there is a power cut?
The system has a built-in battery backup that keeps it operational for at least 8 hours during a power interruption.
If the alarm goes off, how long does the siren ring for?
To comply with local council policies, the external siren rings for a maximum of 15 minutes. If an intruder returns, the alarm will re-activate and ring for another 15 minutes. Ring time can be set as per customer.
How do I stop the alarm if I accidentally set it off?
Simply enter your correct 4-digit user code at the keypad, use a keyfob or tag, and the alarm will stop.

Maintenance is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of your system.
What sort of things are checked during maintenance?
We check that the alarm is functioning correctly, verify the battery backup is operational, and perform a thorough system check to ensure everything is in optimal working condition.
